GENERAL MAT CLASS INFO

Mat class sizes are limited, pre-registration is required. Register early!

 

Classes meet one day per week

Mats are provided for your use

 

Miss a class?

Classes can be made up by attending another class, of the same level, anytime throughout the current quarter.

 

Drop-In sessions available for students already enrolled in a class who want more than one workout a week.

Drop-in Rate: $9

 

Class fees are non-transferable

 

 

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist, Gary McFarland is accepting patients for Pilates-based physical therapy treatment. 
This service is covered by most insurances with a physician referral.

Private Sessions

 

 

  One-to-one instruction using specialized Pilates equipment: Reformer, Spine Corrector, Stability Chair and Mat.
Private Sessions allow for personalized attention to meet individual needs.

One - Hour Session        $52

 

5 One - Hour Sessions       $235

10 One - Hour Sessions        $450

INTRO TO MAT  (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat)

A great starting point for beginners or those who need a refresher. Learn the Five Basic Principles of STOTT Pilates,
building a foundation of exercises to move onto the next level. This mat-based workout is designed to help students
develop longer, leaner muscles, establish core strength & stability, and heighten mind-body awareness.
Students are welcome to stay in the Intro to Mat class until feeling confident enough to enter the next level.
This series is a pre-requisite for all other Pilates' classes at BODY reFORM.

 

*PILATES FOR ATHLETES  (Mon)

On an ongoing basis, do you run, lift weights, play soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, swim, board, ski, golf, dance,

rock climb, martial arts or cycle? Are you looking to enhance your workout routine?  An Intro to Mat is just what you need. 

Before enrolling in the Pilates for Athletes on Monday, one must have completed an Intro to Mat series.

 

MAT LEVEL I  (Tues, Wed, Thurs)

After completing the Intro to Mat series, this is the next step to better your understanding of Pilates Mat exercises.
This class will take you beyond the principles as you begin to explore the balance and strength within your core.

 

MAT LEVELs 2 & 3  (Mon, Tues, Wed)

For more challenge, Levels 2 & 3 will take you through dynamic, full-body workouts that focus on improving flexibility and
core strength, with exercises that stretch and tone a number of muscle groups.  Stability balls, foam rollers, Fitness Circles™,
Dyna-bands™ and mini balls are provided for your use.

Instructor permission required.

 

**PILATES ON THE BALL   (Sat)

Add a new dimension to your Pilates workout using stability balls.  This class is open to students in Levels 1, 2 & 3 with significant stability ball experience.

 

+PILATES FOR PREGNANCY and NEW MOMS (Thurs)

A class for any level of Pilates experience. Adapt your Pilates workout to how your body is changing throughout your prenatal and postpartum months. Gain core strength, arm & shoulder stability and back support. Props will be used to focus on posture, breathing, pelvic floor and gentle stretching. Have fun, stay strong, and keep your energy level up.

+Class Participation requires a signed note from your health care provider.  Women up to 26 weeks pregnant may join this class.
